BASWAphon Seamless Sound Absorbing Plaster System

BASWA acoustic North America Has the Right Acoustic Finish System for Your Project

BASWA - Acoustic systems for controlling sound reverberation time
Sound in a room is spread in all directions and reflected completely or partially at the surfaces. Does a room resound too much; the reverberation time has to be cut back by absorptive measures. These absorptive measures should be adapted to the room requirements.

The heart of BASWAphon’s appeal is a combination of exceptional absorption with a strikingly beautiful appearance. The Classic finish is smooth, seamless, with the look of hand-troweled plaster. The final rich looking result can be integrally colored to conform to the design concept.

The system is suitable for:

  • level surfaces such as ceilings, floors
  • arched and vaulted surfaces
  • double-curved surfaces

This tried and tested system can be put to use universally and combines all the advantages of the BASWAphon acoustic system. The system provides the highest degree of freedom, enabling the creation of the very finest surface structure.

BASWAphon Resilient Finish
Smooth, Seamless Sound Absorptive Acoustical Finish System

The Resilient System is a specialty product that is highly resistant to moisture, mold and mildew. It is applied on ceiling surfaces of indoor swimming pools, protected exterior spaces or other high moisture applications. This System has the following attributes:

  • The Resilient System has a slightly granular smooth hand troweled finish . Inherent with any hand troweled product, slight variations or imperfections in the finished surface may be visible with critical lighting.
  • Up to 5,000 s.f. can be installed in one continuous surface.
  • The Resilient System consists of a factory pre-coated supporting panel (a bonded mineral wool backing coated with glass micro-spheres ), a trowel applied Base 407 coat (coarse marble aggregate in a proprietary emulsion) and a trowel applied Finish Coat (coarse marble aggregate in a proprietary emulsion).
  • The ResilientSystem can be curved in one or two directions with relative ease at a minor cost increase.
  • The Resilient System can be integrally pigmented to match any pastel to medium deep color.
  • Touch-up and cleaning of the Resilient System must be performed under the direction of a qualified BASWAphon Technician.
  • The Resilient System is very durable and can be washed, even scrubbed with a brush and rinsed with clean water to remove most stains.
